At Gold Wolff Jewelers, we always clean and inspect ALL of your jewelry for free. We never charge for this service. It does not matter if the jewelry was bought from us or not. It is important to get your jewelry checked for 3 reasons. 1) When we inspect your jewelry, we can spot loose gems and worn prongs before you lose any treasured and expensive items. 2) By checking for loose gems, we can prevent any gems from falling out, and prevent the sharp or worn prongs from snagging clothing and ruining hosiery. 3) When we clean your jewelry, you leave the store with a bright, shiny ring, pendant or earring set, and when you look good, you feel better and we are very happy when you leave with a smile on your face! ]]>
The above photo is of a custom ring we made for a client using his gems and gold. We came up with the design with the customer and were able to use all of his gems, in this complicated ring. The casting was easy, but getting round gems and oval gems in one ring, all channel set, was difficult. The photo below is of a ring we made for a client who wanted her two wedding rings combined into one. This was a little easier, as we channel set only one size of gem, not two. Again, we used her gold and her diamonds to create this beautiful wedding ring.

* We only purchase gold from two refiners (both are based on the east coast), that recycle old gold from post consumer products such as jewelry, computer parts and other industrial sources (not from mine sites), and these two refiners meet or exceed all federal, state, and local regulations concerning hazardous waste and disposal of all related byproducts.
* We can purchase colored gemstones that are cut and faceted in the United States. The down side to this fact is they are more expensive. While there may not be much difference in price on a 4 carat Pink Sapphire, there is a large difference in price on smaller stones, such as garnets or amethyst under ½ carat in weight. Most of the smaller stones are cut and faceted overseas to save on labor costs.
* We can get Certified Canadian diamonds, as well as other certified diamonds. We presently have one certified diamond in-stock. Other certified diamonds are a phone call away; meaning we pick up the phone and order in diamonds that fit the budget and size requirements we have discussed. Most of the diamonds we presently own are from independant wholesale sources.
* We have a one year guarantee on every item we sell except for our Bargain Corner merchandise. We warrantee all products and repair work on Gold Wolff Jewelers products for a period of one year from the purchase date against defects in materials and workmanship. We obviously do not offer warrantee work on jewelry that has been abused, neglected, or taken to another jewelry store for repairs. We offer a 90 day warrantee on repairs performed on jewelry purchased elsewhere.
* We have lower overhead, which means lower prices to the consumer. The local mall rent is over ten times what we pay on a square foot basis. Lower overfead means lower prices to you!
